What Goes On

Sunday Alsager URC Worship Life

The worship life of the church is God centred and takes place in a friendly relaxed but respectful atmosphere. Worship is broadly traditional but varied and always developing and new people are always welcome to come and join us.

Worship takes place every Sunday morning at 10.30am with Communion being celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.

"Messy Church" on the third Sunday morning is when in addition to family worship the children and young people from Junior Church and Pre-teens combine themed craftwork with worship.

There is an evening service at 6.30pm on the third Sunday of each month, The service takes a slightly different form or has a specific theme each month and often includes a celebration of Holy Communion with liturgies from a variety of different traditions. It is also an ecumenical service when friends from other local churches join us and take part with us.

Refreshments are served in the hall following every service.

If you don’t have time to join us on a Sunday why not come to one of the weekday or prayer services we hold during the month.

Every third Tuesday at 12.00 noon there is the lunchtime service followed by a Buffet lunch

The Afternoon fellowship includes a time of worship as well as interesting talks and refreshments and then there are various times for come before God in prayer. Details of all these services and prayer times can be found on the appropriate page on this website.
